The Story So Far
The last time I wrote here, I was deep in the world of JavaScript bundling at Netflix, tinkering with IIFEs and conditional modules. I was CTO at Shaztra, building test automation tools. I gave talks at conferences like React India, BrazilJS, and HolyJS.
That version of rajat.io served its purpose. But a lot has changed.
What’s New
These days, my work spans a few different areas:
- Enterprise Architecture & Transformation — Helping large organizations modernize their engineering practices, from platform strategy to team structures
- AI Engineering — We’re living through a revolution in how software gets built. I’m in the trenches, building with AI, and learning what works
- Building Products — Still scratching that founder itch, exploring ideas at the intersection of AI and developer tools
The common thread? I’m still obsessed with how software gets made—just at different scales and with new tools.
Why Write Again?
A few reasons:
- Thinking in public — Writing clarifies thinking. Publishing holds me accountable.
- Building a body of work — Tweets disappear. Blog posts compound.
- Connecting with people — The best conversations start with shared ideas.
Also, I built a personal AI assistant called emno that helps me go from raw thought → refined idea → published post. This blog is part of that system. More on that workflow in a future post.
What to Expect
I’ll be writing about:
- AI Engineering — Practical applications, tooling, and what actually works in production
- Architecture & Platforms — Enterprise patterns, platform engineering, and building systems that scale
- The Craft — Lessons from consulting, building products, and shipping software
Some posts will be technical deep-dives. Others will be reflections on the craft. All of them will be things I genuinely find interesting.
The Setup
This blog is built with Astro using the excellent AstroPaper theme, deployed on Cloudflare Pages.
I ported over my old posts on Git branch cleanup and IIFEs for posterity. They’re a snapshot of where I was. New content starts now.
Let’s Go
